This course focuses on the inter-communication of key system components and the use of various tools to verify each component's functional state. The command line and graphical user interfaces are employed to test and verify various hardware and software component functions. In the course labs, students generate and analyze error logs, dump files, raw system reports and other key data structures used to identify overall system status. Problem isolation and problem resolution techniques are practiced through hands-on lab exercises. The course culminates in lab sessions in which students demonstrate success in isolating, troubleshooting, and resolving Cisco MeetingPlace system level problems. This course is an intermediate troubleshooting course for senior technicians servicing Cisco MeetingPlace products at support level-two. This course is a technical course for senior support staff of qualified Advanced Technology Parnters.

Student's sponsor organization must hold a Cisco IP Communications Specialized Certification. Attendees should have completed the self-paced Cisco MeetingPlace Product Overview course, and have hands-on experience with Cisco MeetingPlace from having attended the Cisco MeetingPlace Installation and Maintenance course.
