With Vblock Infrastructure Platforms, VCE delivers teh industry's first completely integrated IT offering that combines best-in-class virtualization, networking,computing, storage, security, and management technologies with end-to-end vendor accountability.  ARP offers a highly focused five day Vblock course that provides a detailed understanding of how to integrate EMC2 storage, Cisco Unified Computing System, Cisco Nexus 1000v Switches, and VMware vSphere to create a shared, virtualized computing environment.  EMC2 storage serves as the storage foundation, Cisco UCS serves as the hardware platform for VMware vSphere, and Cisco Nexus 1000v serves as a virtual intelligent switch.  These individual products combine to provide a highly flexible computing environment, ready for your private cloud, where customers can integrate existing OS, applications, databases, and infrastructure software using any protocol.  Upon completion of the course, the student will understand how integrating the individual product components create a standardized, flexible shared Vblock infrastructure.  Practical lab exercises augment and reinforce the courseware to provide a unified curriculum.
